Earl John Wooten


Earl John Wooten, 73, of North Ft. Myers, FL, formerly of Springfield, died at 3:45 p.m. Sunday September 30, 2007 in his residence.

He was born August 14, 1934 in Hazard, KY to Earl and Helen (Pelfrey) Wooten. Earl worked as a truck driver in the construction industry for a number of years.

He is survived by his wife Ruby (Smith); 3 children, Darrell Wooten, Elizabeth McCue and Sherry Perez; grandchildren, Matthew Nelson, Patrick McCue, Craig Nelson, Jacob Wooten, Seth Perez; brothers and sisters, Jim Stidham, Virginia Lee Roberts, Matthew Stidham, Rosalee Boroughs, Kenneth Stidham, Noah Stidham, Mary Lou Bush, Goldie Moore, Charles Stidham, Donnie Stidham, Claude Stidham and Ruth Ann Stidham.

Friends may call in the Conroy Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. a.m. Friday in Jesus Only Church, 534 Kinnane Ave., Springfield, OH with Rev. Kenneth Roberts and Kenneth Stidham officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
