Ora Thelma Ulrich


Thelma Ulrich, 87, of Springfield, passed away on August 29, 2007 in the Eaglewood Care Center.

She was born on August 2, 1920 in Gauzdale, Kentucky the daughter of Andy and Alza (Sanders) Anderson. Thelma was a loving and caring person. She enjoyed working around the home, crocheting, cooking, canning, and gardening. She especially enjoyed bird watching.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Jean Ulrich of Springfield, close relatives, Dean and Susie Blair of Springfield and Pansy and Orville Blair of Mechanicsburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Estel and Harold Campbell of Kentucky, two brothers and a sisters-in-law: Dewey and Bessie Anderson of Xenia, and Troy Anderson of Florida; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, several great-great nieces and nephews, and one great-great-great nephew. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Coleman Anderson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 11:00 am in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with her great niece, Reverend Sarah Massie of New Life Ministries in Mechanicsburg officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the time of service.

Burial will be in the St. Bernard Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Eaglewood Care Center, Community Mercy Hospice, and Comfort Keepers for their genuine compassion shown to Thelma.
