Joyce Ann Taylor


Joyce Ann (Harmon) Taylor, 67, of Springfield, died Sunday morning, March 16, 2008 in Mercy St. John's Center where she had resided for the past twelve years.

She was born in Urbana, Ohio on February 5, 1941 the daughter of Lloyd and Laura (Pierson) Harmon.

Joyce is survived by five children, Roberta (Gene) Lowe of Odessa, Texas, and Kimberly Bryan, Ashley (Benny) Owens, James (Sherri) Atchison, and Chris (Julie) Atchison, all of Springfield; two sisters, Ruby McCormick and Sandra Powell of Springfield; twenty two grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, June Farber and Barbara Harris.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Dick McDaniel officiating.
