Helen C. Thomas


Helen C. Thomas, 86, of Springfield, died at 9:05 p.m., Saturday, September 1, 2007 in the Ohio Masonic Home.

She was born April 30, 1921 in Springfield, OH to Thomas J. and Anna (Mitchell) Thomas. She retired as a budget analyst for Wright Patterson Air Force Base. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, past member of the American Business Women's Association and Legion of Mary.

Survivors include a sister, Charlotte Thomas; nieces and nephews, Mary Ann Roberts, Elaine Hampton, Martin Cullen and Kathleen Cullen all of Springfield; numerous great nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Loretta (Martin) Cullen and a brother, Thomas J. (Clara) Thomas.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of the Ohio Masonic Home with Fr. Dennis Caylor officiating. The family will receive friends ½ hour prior. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
