Dorothy D. Tingley


Dorothy D. Tingley, 87, of Nokomis, Florida and formerly of Springfield, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 in Venice Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Bookwalter, Ohio on June 4, 1920 the daughter of Otis and Osie (Stewart) Griffith. Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Miller of Springfield, three granddaughters, Kim Glenn (Bill) of Beavercreek, Mindi (Dave) Cox of Enon and Traci (Bob) Miller of Sprngfield, and six great granchildren, Megan, Kara, Travis, Justin, David, and Trinity. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard L. Tingley, and son-in-law, Phil Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Rose Hill Burial Park with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions mat be made to the hospice or charity of one's choice. The LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
