Joyce D. Paugh


Joyce D. Paugh, 76, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2008 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center - Fountain Blvd. Campus.

She was born on September 20, 1931 in Brighton, Ohio the daughter of Walter M. and Daisy M. (Irons) Morris.

She was a member of the Plattsburg United Church of Christ and retired from the Northeastern Local Schools after thirty-two years.

She is survived by four children and their spouses: Doug and Stephanie Paugh of Springfield; Dan and Kay Paugh of Springfield; Dale and Belinda Paugh of Clayton; and Dee Dee Schneider of London; ten grandchildren: Josh, Kim, Lisa, Joey, Nikki (Ryan), Beth, Aaron (Molly), Cairee Alyse, Ethan, and Sara; one great grandson, Jordan, two sisters and brothers-in-law: Norma and Paul Green of Springfield; and Gloria and George Maston of Matthews, North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George "Mousie" Paugh in 2001, one sister, one brother, and one niece.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 4-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 6, at 10:30 a.m. in the Plattsburg United Church of Christ, 1715 S. Urbana-Lisbon Rd., South Charleston, with Reverend Glennyce Grindstaff officiating. Burial will be in the South Vienna Cemetery.
