Harriet Palmer


Harriet Palmer, 86, of Medway, died Sunday September 21, 2008 in Wright Nursing Center.

She was born January 13, 1922 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Lewis and Myra (Musgrave) Baker.

Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Segur of Medway and Judy Boysel of Springfield; son Jack Byerman of Milford; two sisters, Patty Butler of California and Linda Steinman of Oklahoma; two brothers, Robert and Don Baker both of Springfield; seven grandchildren, Christopher Byerman, Jeffery Boysel, Byran Byerman, Joseph Boysel, Duke Rutherford, Dirk Byerman and Alan Boysel; twenty-five great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of sixty-one years, Robert M. "Sunshine Bob" Palmer; four brothers and two sisters.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday September 26, 2008, with Rev. Joseph Boysel officiating.

Burial will be in Medway Cemetery.
