Larry W. Oyler


Larry W. Oyler, 54, of Springfield passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008 in Mercy St John's Center.

He was born in Springfield, Ohio on June 20, 1953, the son of Lawrence Edgar and Dorothy Jane (Caldwell) Oyler.

Larry was a member of Hillside Ave Church of God. He was very passionate about hunting and fishing. Larry also enjoyed working with crafts, especially cross stitching.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Rebecca R. Oyler February 1, 2007; and one brother Terry Oyler.

His survivors include one daughter and son in law Denise & Philip Eldridge of Springfield; son, Woodrow "Woody" Oyler of Columbus; sister Bonna Brown of Springfield; father in law and mother in law Elton and Kathleen Moose; sister in law and brother in law Paula & Scott Dunn; nieces Lydia, Dana, & Sarah; nephews Todd Chris, Ray, & Stephen; several great nieces and great nephews; and countless friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-9 PM in the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home and one hour prior to services. A celebration of Larry's life will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM in the Hillside Ave Church of God with Michael Criner and Brent Farmer officiating. Burial to follow in Donnelsville Cemetery.
