Elizabeth O'Brien


Elizabeth "June" O'Brien, 81, of Springfield, died Friday October 19, 2007 in her son's home. She was born June 20, 1926 in Clark County, Ohio, the daughter of Clarence and Glenna Ruth (Bryan) Auckerman.

Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law; Bonita and Charles Pinkerman of Springfield; Kelly and Kenneth Gray of Springfield; step-daughter and her husband, Patricia and Gary Russell of Coolville, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Jennifer O'Brien of Springfield; step-son and his wife, David and Linda O'Brien of Coolville, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Shirley McLean of Springfield; two brothers, Carl B. Auckerman and Adrian N. Auckerman both of Springfield; grandchildren, Tina (Keith) Price, Pamela (Robert) Johnson, David Pinkerman, Mandy (Rusty) Neighbors, Amy O'Brien, Simon O'Brien, Zachary (Erin) Foster and Tyler Foster; step-grandchildren, Tammy O'Brien, Jenny Shorter, Janet Cullen, Kathy Bragg, Brenda Johnson and Richard Russell; twenty-two great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Dale O'Brien; son, Jarold McLean; sister, Doris Kohn; three brothers, John W. Auckerman, Daniel C. Auckerman and William Auckerman.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday in LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday October 24, 2007, with Pastor Cary Simonton, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
