Betty A. Niccolini, 82, of Springfield passed away Tuesday Dec. 6, 2007.

She was born January 4, 1925 a daughter of Charles and Pearl (Hatfield) Thompson in Springfield, OH.

She was a member of the Northwood Hills Country Club; an avid sportsman; and loved bowling, golf and OSU.

Betty is survived by her sons, Mark Niccolini and Bruce (Sharon) Niccolini; brother, Ronald Thompson; grandchildren, Marie Logsdon, Annie and Tony Niccolini; long time companion, Nelson Donnell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nic Niccolini; parents; step mothers, Leona Thompson; step sister, Betty Donnell.

A memorial service will be held 10AM Thursday December 13, 2007 in the Christ Episcopal Church 409 E. High St. Springfield, OH 45505, with Rev. Charlotte Collins Reed officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 3797 Summit Glen Dr. G100 Dayton, OH 45449, American Cancer Society 2808 Reading Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45206, American Heart Association P.O. Box 163549 Columbus, OH 43216, or a charity of choice.
