Marilyn J. McDonald, 79, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Friday August 8, 2008.

She was born February 24, 1929 in Springfield, the daughter of the late Dewey & Delcie (Albert) McGillivray.

She is survived by two sons, Jim & Debbie McDonald of Huber Heights, John & Cindy McDonald of Christiansburg; two daughters, Rita & Dennis Miller of Troy, Anita & Tom Benz of Urbana; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth & Joyce McGillivray of Springfield, Harold & Dorthy McGillivray of West Liberty; two sisters, Donna & Bob Erlewine of Springfield, Jane & Bob Lindner of New Carlisle; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roger McDonald; a grandson, Mark Miller; and a brother, Robert McGillivray.

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday August 10, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston.
