Helena M. McKenzie


Helena M. McKenzie, 78, of Springfield, died Thursday, October 16, 2008 in Mercy St. John's Center.

She was born April 6, 1930 in Tipp City, OH to Harry W. and Edith M. (Pry) Knight. Helena was an avid crotchetier and had a love of animals.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Jerry J. Miller, Terry J. Smith and Edith M. Teets, Springfield; a son Steven M. (Debbie) Knight; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; a sister, Jan (James) Burton, Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a brother, Roland Knight.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Conroy Funeral Home with Rev Danny Miller officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior, beginning at noon. Private burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
