David R. Miller


David R. Miller, 63, of Springfield, formerly of London, went to sleep peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2008, "yes Dad there is a better place."

He was born on January 9, 1945, in Columbus, Ohio the son of Martin M. and Kathryn (Baily) Miller.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Hydy, and Preston Ripley of Springfield, one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Angela Miller of Florida; three granddaughters: Taylor, McKenzie, and Madison, one sister, Mary Lou Shoemaker of London, five nephews: Richard M., Perry (Cindy), Tony (Denise), Todd, and Paul (Sarah) Shoemaker, and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: Richard and William, and brother-in-law, Richard Shoemaker.

At David's request, there will be no services.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the caregivers at Good Shepherd Village and Community Mercy Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice, 1343 N. Fountain Blvd., Springfield, OH 45504.

The family is being served by the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY.
