Hettie Jane Kingery


Hettie Jane (Duckworth) Kingery, 79, of Springfield, formerly of Indian Lake, Lakeview, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 in Mercy St. John's Center.

She was born December 24, 1928 in Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter of Dale and Charity (Winfree) Duckworth.

Survivors include a daughter; Linda (Skip) Mitterholzer of Cheboygan, Michigan, a son; Jerome (Elaine) Kingery of Springfield, a daughter; Judy (Larry) Miller of Springfield, and a daughter; Becky (Carey) Tallent of Athens, Tennessee, sisters; Della Arnold and Carolyn Orr, both of Springfield, ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; William E. Kingery, her parents, a step mother, two brothers and four sisters.

At Mrs. Kingery's request, her remains will be cremated. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, October 18, 2008, in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Walter Mock officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services.
