Joseph L. Jaques


Joseph L. Jaques, 56, of Springfield passed Sunday morning, November 9, 2008 in the Mercy St. John's Center.

He was born November 23, 1951 in Panama Canal Zone, Panama, the son of Leroy S. Jaques and Violet (Harrison) Sickles.

He was a 1971 graduate of Southeastern High School. Joe was an automobile mechanic for 20 years and an avid old car lover. He had a great deal of love for animals, kids and elderly people. Joe will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his mother; sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Glen Marsh of Springfield; brother, David A. Jaques of Springfield; one niece and two nephews, Kevin, Justin, Jessica Jaques and special neighbors, Jerry and Pauline Fife of Springfield.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2008 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. in funeral home with Reverend Wendell Hakala officiating.

Burial will follow in the Garlough Cemetery, Pitchin, Ohio.
