Francis E.(Jack) Jackson


Francis E. "Jack" Jackson, 82, of Springfield passed away Sunday July 29, 2007.

He was born May 18, 1925 to John M. and Tamson J. (Primmer) Jackson in Detroit, MI.

He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and Korea, a lifetime member of the Masons. Jack retired from W.P.A.F.B., was an active member of Cornerstone Baptist Church for 21 years and resided is California for 24 years.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janice (McCoy) Jackson; sons, Jay Jackson of CA, Jeff (Natalie) Jackson of Springfield, formerly of CA; loving grandchildren, Jessica, Jayson, Celia (John) and Christina all of CA; great grandchildren, Isis, Julius and Austynn; special grandson, Christopher; sister, Judith (Ed) Aufdenberg of Copley; brother, Walter of CA; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by son, Jon Jackson; twin brother and sister, Twilla and Thomas.

A memorial service will be held 7pm Friday August 3, 2007 in the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 2643 N. Limestone, Springfield, OH 45503 with Pastor Dan Fitzgerald officiating. Arrangements in care of the JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS Funeral Home.
