Marie Herbert


Marie Herbert, 88, of Springfield, Ohio, formerly of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2007 in the Dayview Care Center, New Carlisle.

She was born on October 30, 1918 in Bascom, Ohio the daughter of Frank P. and Loretta T. Hoffman.

She is survived by two step daughters and sons-in-law: Dorothy and Howard Conley of Georgia, and Judy and Ted Treon of New Carlisle, one step son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Jan Herbert of Illinois, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, step son-in-law, David Harkins of Missouri, step daughter-in-law, Virginia Herbert of Tennessee, and four nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Andrew Herbert in 1973, step son, Harry A. Herbert, and step daughter, Sharon Harkins.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Tiffin, Ohio.

The family is being served by the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, Springfield.
