Karen Kaye Hopkins


Karen Kaye Hopkins, 50 of Springfield died Friday, February 1, 2008 in the emergency room of the Springfield Regional Medical Center High St Campus.

She was born in Springfield, Ohio on August 17, 1957, the daughter of Grover and Inez Marie (Wilson) Whitt.

Karen enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father and sister Connie Whitt.

Her survivors include her husband Steven Hopkins, whom she married February 22, 1997; her mother; daughter Jessica L. Whitt; son Dakota Ty Hopkins; four sisters Avonell Whitt, Virginia Whitt, Ilene Whitt, and Sharon Whitt; one brother Ronnie Whitt; three grandchildren Cody, Brianna, and Hayden Parker; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering of friends and family will be Sunday, February 3, 2008 from 1-3 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME.
