Janet L. House
Janet L. House, 77, of Springfield, died at 12:45 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2008 in Springfield Regional Hospital High Street Campus. She was born September 19, 1931 in Springfield, OH to Ralph and Dorothy (Dykes) Jones.
Janet was a former member of Oakland Presbyterian Church, former longtime member of Northwood Hills Country Club, volunteered at Community Hospital and was a 1949 graduate of Springfield High School.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Jack L. House; 5 children, Jill Doan, Bart House, Brian House, of Springfield, Eric (Penny) House, Cincinnati, OH, and Lisa House, Oakwood, OH. 5 grandchildren, Bailey Doan, Griffin House, Gretchen House, Sophia House and Jackson House; and a cousin, Charles (Joyce) Morris.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Conroy Funeral Home with Rev. Charlotte Collins Reed officiating. Family will receive friends 1½ hours prior, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Private entombment will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the Animal Welfare League.
