Janie Hearlihy


Janie Hearlihy, 81, of Springfield, died Tuesday, January 8, 2008 in her residence.

She was born September 20, 1926 in Springfield, OH to Kenneth and Mary Catherine (Ryan) Neville.

Janie was employed as the credit manager for the Pepsico-Borden Credit Union in Indianapolis prior to moving back to Springfield. She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church and C.L. of C. Council 207.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Arden (Tom) Geers, Cincinnati, OH and Jill Lawson, Indianapolis, IN; 5 grandchildren, Andy, Amy and Gretchen Geers and Ryan and Katie Lawson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. and son, John R. "Jack", brother, Kenneth Neville and a son in law, Earl "Bill" Lawson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in St. Teresa Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Catholic Central High School Foundation.
