Grace I. Hecathorn


Grace I. Hecathorn, 85, of Medway, Ohio passed away Sunday June 22, 2008. She was born November 14, 1922 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of the late Rev. Henry & Osie (Harris) Snapp.

She was a member of the Grange-Olive Branch, Past Co-Chairman of the Ohio State Grange Youth Committee and Moose.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bob Hecathorn; two daughters, Donna & William Lindeman of New Carlisle, Ohio, Susan A. Walley of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; five grandchildren, Deborah & Brian Measel, Melissa & Chuck Smith, Amanda & Michael Brust, Lisa & Jason Walley; three great grandchildren, Zachary & Emily Measel and Owen Brust; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Harold Snapp and a sister, Mary Ellen Ober.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday June 25, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with a visitation one hour prior in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to DayView Care Center, 1885 N. Dayton Lakeview Rd., New Carlisle, Ohio 45344.
