Fred H. Hawks


Fred H. Hawks Jr., 81, of South Vienna passed away peacefully on Sunday January 27, 2008 in Community Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Fred was born February 6, 1926 in Pennington Gap, VA, a son of Fred H. and Gertrude M. Hawks.

He retired from General Motors in Moraine as a production supervisor. He was also owner of Fred's Sohio Service for many years. Fred was a member of H.S. Kissell Lodge.

Fred is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Fannie (Kunkle) Hawks; three children, Donna Campbell of Springfield, Herb (Kim) Hawks of Colorado Springs, CO, Doug (Bonnie) Hawks of S. Vienna; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son-in-law.

Memorial service will be held 2:00pm Friday February 2, 2008 in the JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS Funeral Home with Herb Hawks officiating.
