Betty L. Horton


Betty L. Horton, 69 of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2008 in the Community Hospital.

She was born on November 21, 1938 in Springfield the daughter of Joseph W. and Mae E. (Newell) Stout.

She last was employed at Eby Brown for many years.

Betty is survived by two daughters, Diana Teegarden of Springfield and Rebecca and Rev. Paul Wallace Jr. of Zanesville, two sons, Edward Jr. and Maria Horton of Springfield and Mark and Melanie Horton of Troy; one brother, Joseph H. Sr. and LaVelle Stout of Aiken, South Carolina, nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2008 from 3-5 pm in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where services will be held on Monday at 2:30 pm, with Pastor Mark Polley. Burial will be in the Asbury Cemetery
