Marjorie E. Eipper


Marjorie E. Eipper, 95 of Springfield, died at 11:37 p.m., Friday, August 17, 2007 in the residence of Barbara Krupp.

She was born June 4, 1912 in Springfield to Dr. Karl F. and Millie (Sinclair) Eipper. She had been employed as a receptionist for Dr. A.A. Gavey for a number of years.

Marjorie was a member of Central United Methodist Church, a 1929 graduate of Springfield High School, a 1931 graduate of Ward-Belmont Junior College in Nashville, Tennessee, a 1933 graduate of Wittenberg College where she was a sister in Alpha Xi Delta Sorority where she received the "Order of the Diamond" for being a loyal member for 75 years and later on the Corporation Board of the sorority and a member of the AZ Chapter of the P.E.O Sisterhood.

She is survived by a cousin, Margery Stumpf and her children, Rick Stumpf, David Stumpf and Joan Hendersen and other cousins including Jefferson Honefanger.

She was a long time friend to the late John Dugan. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Barbara Krupp for her compassion and wonderful care over the last seven years.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Sherri Blackwell officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will be held in Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the P.E.O. Foundation for Ohio Scholarships c/o Nancy Rix, 2524 Fox Hollow Road, Springfield, Ohio 45502 or Central United Methodist Church, 102 West High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45502. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 5-8 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services will be Wednesday at Noon in the Chapel of Rose Hill Burial Park with Pastor Steve Williams officiating.
