Paul Elvis Campbell


Paul Elvis "Candyman" Campbell, 73 of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2007 in his residence.

He was born December 25, 1933 in DuVall Bluff, Arkansas, the son of John Edward and Sarah Elizabeth (Northern) Campbell. Mr. Campbell was retried from the United States Air Force and had been a self employed mechanic.

Survivors include four daughters: Paula Daniels, Gypsum, Kansas, LaVetta Lewis, Salina, Kansas, Freda (Robert) Lewis, Lincoln, Kansas and Lizbeth (Jerry) Cleveland, Gypsum, Kansas, ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three sisters: Sara Tucker, Mary (Ralph) Smith, and Sue (Billy) Poe all of Arkansas, numerous nieces and nephews and special friends Shirley Jenkins and Erin. He was preceded in death by a grandson, three brothers, two sisters and his parents.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services.
