Thomas Ramey Bostick


Thomas Ramey Bostick, 87, passed away on August 29, 2007. He was born September 9, 1919 in Greasy Ridge, OH, son of Thomas Edward and Mertie (Massie) Bostick.

Thomas graduated from Mason-Aid high school in 1938. He worked as a journeyman printer for Crowell-Collier publishing Co., NCR, Sunday Visitor Publishing Co., and Central Printing Co. He also was an avid golfer and bowler.

Thomas served as a Seaman First Class in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Thomas is preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Bina Mae Bostick, and 3 siblings, Denver Bostick, Dorothy Saunders, and Marjorie Wilson. Survivors include his children, Lois (Dan) Dingledine of Springfield, Raymond (Marcia) Bostick of Huber Heights, and Richard Bostick of Fairborn; grandchildren, Rebecca (Tom) Newman of West Liberty, Debra (Dennis) Patten of Springfield, Daniel Dingledine of Springfield, Thomas (Tammie) Dingledine of London, Sandy (Jesse) Pierce of South Charleston, Robin (Robert) Pelles of North Olmstead, Andrew Bostick of Huber Heights, Thomas Bostick of Fairborn, and Tiffany Bostick of Naples, FL; 14 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2007 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, Springfield, with the funeral service on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Pastor Darryl Brown officiating. Interment in Enon Cemetery.
