Thomas L. Blakeley


Thomas L. Blakeley, 58, of Springfield, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 11, 2007 in his residence.

He was born December 24, 1948 in Jamestown, Ohio, the son of Everett and Kathryn (Bailey) Blakeley.

He retired from Navistar in 2003 after 33 years of service. he was a member of Moose Lodge and Lions Club.

Survivors include his two daughters and sons-in-law, Tracy and Kevin Cochran, Andrea Blakeley and Bobby Hess, all of Springfield; son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Julie Blakeley of Montana; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Clinton Boisel, Sally and Jerry Robinson, Viney Brown, all of Springfield; four grandchildren, Patrick, Anna and Jocelyn Cochran and Jillian Blakeley; former wife, Cathy Blakeley; companion, Sandy Billet and her son, Justin of Springfield.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. with Pastor John Essig officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Jeffersonville, Ohio.
