Sally Valley Burke


Sally Valley Burke, 79, of Springfield, died at 4:15 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2007 in Dayspring Care Center.

She was born September 2, 1928 in Springfield, OH to James and Mary Louise (Holloway) Heflin. Early in Sally's career she worked as the retail manager for Brown Drug and later received her real estate license and worked for various real estate companies in the Springfield area and most recently for Coldwell Bankers. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Enon Garden Club and the C.L. of C. #207.

Sally is survived by her husband, William Burke; 7 children, Lori and Steven Miller, Huber Heights, OH, Vicki L. Valley, Springfield, Eddi and Nicki Valley, Enon, OH, Macrina Valley, South Daytona, FL, Stacia Valley, Seattle, WA, Frank T. Valley; Stephen C. and Christie Valley, Springfield; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; stepchildren, Barbara Gordin, Michael Burke, Gloria Bailey, Shelia Burke and Colleen Roberts; a sister, Mary Ann Weeks, Springfield; a brother, T.J. (Kathy) Heflin, Lake Louisa, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her first husband, Frank Valley in 2000, preceded her in death.

Friends may call in the Conroy Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday with C. L. of C. services at 2:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday in St. Raphael Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
