Melvin L. Buford


Melvin L. Buford, 53, of Springfield, departed this life Saturday 29, 2007 in Mercy Medical Center.

He was born October 1, 1953 a son of Joyce Beard and Melvin Buford Sr. Melvin graduated from Springfield South High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He attended Highlight Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother and stepfather: Joyce and Andy May, children; Michael, Rashawn, Eric, Melinda, Kelly and Bridgette, a brother, three sisters. a special friend and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, October 5, 2007 from 10-11 a.m. in the Highlight Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow in the church at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions in care of the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. Arrangements by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
