Larry Dean Bussard


Larry Dean Bussard, 64, of South Charleston, Ohio passed away at 4:30 AM Saturday, September 8, 2007 in Good Shepherd Village.

He was born January 30, 1943 in West Jefferson, Ohio the son of Alva W. and Hazel Bell (Miller) Bussard. He married Wendy Jo (Gray) on August 25, 1989. He was a painter most of his life. His hobbies were hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife Wendy, five children: Eva (Kenneth) Haley, Corrine(Michael) Carr, Charline (James) Decker, Larry D and Charles Bussard, two step sons: Michael and Anthony Ferguson, five sisters Vigie, Betty, Triva M., Martha and Donna, three brothers John, Ernie and Carl Bussard, fifteen grand children, and ten great grandchildren. He also had many friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Mabel, Patricia, and Sarah and one brother Alva Jr. Bussard.

Wendy Jo would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Patill, the Hospice Staff, the Cancer Center Staff and the Good Shepherd Village Staff for taking good care of Larry. In his time of need she would also like to thank Anna for taking out the time for Larry. Anna, you are the best sister in law and my best friend.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday in the International Pentecostal Church of Christ with Pastor Richard Blevins officiating. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the services. Burial will follow in McConkey Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
