Lowell E. Bicknell


Lowell E. Bicknell, 71, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Sunday August 24, 2008. He was born February 4, 1937 in New Carlisle the son of the late Emmett & Mary (Hales) Bicknell.

He graduated class of 1955 from Tecumseh High School, was on the first Tecumseh football team and a strong supporter of Tecumseh Athletics. He was a land developer and a member of the Board of Realtors, National Board of Realtors and an International Real Estate Appraiser. He was a member of the Clark County Planning Commission. He attended the First United Methodist Church, New Carlisle.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; his children, Jeanie (Fred) Horine, Cherri (Jim) Cramer, Joni (Bob) Cairo, Jamie (Paul) Turpin, Joseph (Sue) Bicknell, Dana (Janie) Bicknell; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; sisters, Lois (Allan) Lake and Wanda Brown; a brother, Louie Bicknell; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Lynda Graziano; granddaughter, Summer Frances; great grandson, Paul Knisley.

Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Thursday August 28, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 15 S. Plum St., Springfield, Ohio 45506.
