Ellenora A. Broering


Ellenora A. Broering, 95, of Springfield, died at 7:10 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2008 in Oakwood Village.

She was born September 15,1912 in Maria Stein, OH to Henry and Anna (Luebke) Brackman.

Ellenora was a longtime member of St. Raphael Catholic Church.

Survivors include 3 children and spouses, Oscar and Patricia Broering, Springfield, Virgil and Barbara Broering, Austin, TX and Lois and Dan O'Keefe, Springfield; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Leona Tuente, Osgood, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, Richard, a grandson, Erik Broering, a sister, Henrietta Heitkamp and brother, William Brackman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in St. Raphael Church with family receiving friends one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorial donation may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society or the Second Harvest Food Bank c/o Catholic Social Services.

The arrangements are being handled by the Conroy Funeral Home.
