Edna Mae Bates, 92, of Springfield died at 2:00 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2008 in Forest Glen Health Campus.

She was born December 29, 1915 in Springfield, OH.

She was married for fifty-nine years to Martin Bates who preceded her in death in 1996.

Survivors include two daughters Jane (Bill) Harrah, Springfield, OH, Melinda (Michael) Donnellan, Houston, TX; three grandchildren Brent (Amy) Donnellan, Megan (Stephen) Thole, Mari Elizabeth (Jan) Ramsberg, six great grandchildren Andy, Sam, Emily, Erin, Daniel and Martin; A foster-son Alan Downs and a special friend Marge McDonough and family.

The family offers a special thanks to all the people at Forest Glen Health Campus for their caring, kindness and love.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Moorefield Township Fire and Rescue or favorite charity.

Arrangements are being handled by the Conroy Funeral Home.
