Donald G. Brewington, Jr.


Donald G. Brewington, Jr., age 72, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the Community Hospital Springfield, Ohio.

He was born in Wilmington, Ohio April 16, 1935 to the late Donald and Mildred (Lane) Brewington Sr.

Donald retired from Navistar after 35 years of service. He was a family man who loved the outdoors. One of Donald's favorite pastimes was to hunt for rocks and turn them into jewelry.

Donald is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lena (Crouse) Brewington of Yellow Springs, sons; Richard Brewington of Springfield, William "Bill" (Judy) Brewington of DeGraff, Robert (Lauri) Brewington of IN., three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, brothers; Gene, Benjamin(Rebecca), and Gerald (Joanna) Brewington, sister Susan Brewington, numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME 2425 N. Limestone St. Wednesday, April 9, 2008 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 7pm; where the memorial service will be held 7pm Wednesday. Rev. William Blain will be officiating.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to "the guys" at the Hustead Rescue Squad #95 for the extra care given to Donald.
