Ina "Lucy" Adams


Ina "Lucy" Adams, 94, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 in Essex of Springfield.

She was born on May 14, 1913 in New Carlisle, Ohio the daughter of Willis and Clara F. (Gump) Stapleton.

She was a member of the DAV Auxiliary in Urbana.

Ina is survived by cousins, Rhonda and Russell Silvers and their children Eric, Shawn, Staci, and Robbie; and cousins Saundra and Gene Seiber, and special friend, John and Helen Rice all of Springfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Cora Berner, and brother, Everett Stapleton.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2007 in the New Carlisle Cemetery.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the caregivers at Essex and special thanks to Ina's dear friend, Alice.

The family is being served by the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.
