Anthony Abbey


Anthony "Tony" Abbey, 60, of Springfield passed Saturday, May 23, 2009. He was born July 4, 1948 in Leeds, England, the son of Richard and Margaret (Heath) Abbey.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 10 years, Lynn (Dockray) Abbey of Springfield; four daughters and son-in-law, Rachel Abbey of Birmingham, England, Janna Kruse of New York City, Shannon (Casey) Wagner of Seattle, Washington and Jill Kruse of Springfield; two sons and daughter-in-law, Nicholas Abbey of Birmingham, England and Timothy (Mariel) Kruse of New York; four grandchildren, Anya Shinabery, Colette Wagner, David Lewis Jr. and Callia Kruse and special friends, Bob and Carolee Travis.

Tony was a very loving and caring husband, father and Poppy. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
