Springfield High School Class of 1951

Homecoming

The traditional Homecoming ceremony climaxed SHS's successful 1950 football season. The students' choice, Barbara Huffman, reigned over the festivities after last year's queen, Marilyn Evans, had crowned her. The queen was honored with a bouquet of flowers and a kiss from the football captain, Don Morris. The following evening, October 14, Boosters' Club presented a Homecoming dance for the Alumni.

The queen and her court entered on a float.
