Grace A. Yarger


Grace A. Yarger, 92, of Springfield, died Friday morning, September 7, 2007 at Forest Glen Health Campus.

She was born in Springfield on March 26, 1915 the daughter of the late James H. and Chase L. Clark.

Grace was a member of First Lutheran Church, Donnelsville and Elderly United. She was recognized as Outstanding Senior Citizen of Clark County for her volunteer work with the elderly.

Survivors include her son, John A. Yarger of Belleview, Florida; two grandchildren, Jeffrey A. (Jamie) Yarger of North Carolina and Amy M. (Frank) Carpenter of Barnesville, Ohio; eight great grandchildren; and dear friends, June and Bob Laybourne.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth C. Yarger to whom she was married for 56 years.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Linda Kruse officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
