Mary L. Wipert


Mary L. Wipert, 75, of Springfield, went to be with the Lord at 5:50 p.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2007 in Eaglewood Village.

She was born November 20, 1931 in Columbus, Ohio to Huston E. and Olive J. (Round) Maxwell. She had been employed as a cook for Franklin Middle School for ten years and was a member of Southgate Baptist Church and previously Maranatha Baptist Church in Springfield.

She is survived by four children and spouses, William E. (Penny E.) Wipert, Kimberly J. Beavin (Mark R. Harville), Thomas H. (Barbara J.) Wipert and Trish A. (Brian S.) Wagner; seven grandchildren, Brittney, Caleb, Paige, Bradley, Dustin, Kyle and Colleen; step-children, Charles (Juanita) Wipert, Jim (Mary "Sis") Wipert and their children and grandchildren; three nieces, several cousins and "sister" and best friend, Joanne Koskovics.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Everett J. in 1988 and brother, Robert Maxwell .

The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Eaglewood Village Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Center.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Friday in the Conroy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Eric Mounts officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Southgate Baptist Church.
