Marjorie A. Wieland


Marjorie A. Wieland, 84, of Springfield, died at 5:10 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2008 in her residence.

She was born December 4, 1923 in Cincinnati, OH to Afonzo J. and Helen (Meyer) Wolff.

Marjorie was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church and the Springfield Country Club.

Survivors in include her husband of 58 years, William A. Wieland; a son and daughter in law, Dr.Thomas A. and Diane Wieland, Dublin, OH; a daughter and son in law, Carol and Michael Rittoff, Springfield; a grandson, Samuel T. Wieland; a brother, William Wolff, New York.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, her twin, Marian Foy and Betty Bearley and a brother, Al Wolff.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in St. Teresa Church with family receiving friends one-hour prior, beginning as 1:00 p.m., in the church. Memorial donations may be made to Community Mercy Hospice.
