Kenneth L. Wright


Kenneth L. Wright, 87, passed away peacefully in his residence, with his wife by his side on Thursday, May 29, 2008.

He was born on July 24, 1920, son of Burt and Mary (Hazlett) Wright. He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Beulah (Dunaway) Wright; daughter, Loretta Huffman; 5 grandchildren, Kenneth (Stephanie) Lute, Kimberly Kenard, Rhonda Weber, Lora Keen, and Scott Lute; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson.

Kenneth was a member of the Woodside Christian Union Church; a Navy Veteran of WWII; was a dedicated employee for Robbinson Myers for 30 years and General Motors for 10 years.

The family would like to send a special thanks to the employees of Crossroads Hospice for their support and help through these difficult times.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2008 from 2-4 PM at JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME- SPRINGFIELD, with funeral service on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Pastor G. Richard Cartwright officiating. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
