Juanita M. Wells


Juanita M. Wells, 65, of Springfield, died Tuesday morning, August 21, 2007 in Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born in Springfield on October 2, 1941 the daughter of Harry Thomas and Betty Lou (Karg) Watkins. Juanita retired from Springfield Laundry Company.

Survivors include her dear friend and companion, James Sartin Sr.; three step-children, Jamie Palmer of Springfield, Lisa (Bobby) Miller of Tremont City and James (Renee) Sartin Jr. of Springfield; a sister, Helen (Ernest) Chapman of Springfield; two brothers, Henry T. (Erma) Watkins of Sidney and John Wesley (Teresa) Watkins of Springfield; a granddaughter, Stacy Carson; numerous step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ricky Lee Wells; a sister, Nancy May Stayrook; and two brothers, Donald Ray Watkins and Ronnie Watkins.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
