Goldie M. Welch


Goldie M. Welch, 86, of Enon passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008. She was born April 9, 1922 in Ohio to the late Virgil and Nancy Potts.

Goldie was a member of the Maiden Lane Church of God and a member of the George Rogers Clark Memorial V.F.W. Post 8437 Women's Auxiliary.

Goldie is survived by her brother, Virgil Potts Jr., nine nieces and nephews along with their families, and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, late husband; June Welch, whom she had been married to for 51 years, and three brothers; Robert, Cecil and Harold Potts.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 Wednesday, December 3, 2008 in Adkins Funeral Home, Enon with Pastor Dan Fiorini officiating. Burial will follow the service in Enon Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday in the funeral home.
