David Ray Wolfe


David Ray "Wolfie" Wolfe, 50 of Springfield died Friday, September 12, 2008 in his residence. He was born in Adams County, Ohio on November 24, 1957, the son of Donald Ray and Betty Ruth (Rideout) Wolfe.

David was an installer with All-Seal Home Improvements for 18 years. His hobbies included riding his dirt bike and working in his yard, but his greatest enjoyment was his grandkids.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents; sister Diana Sears; brother Gerald Wolfe; and special friend Ronnie Russell.

He has left to cherish his memories, his wife Karol Kay (Runyan) Wolfe, whom he married September 28, 1990; two daughters Charmin Orth of Grove City and Tiara Wolfe of Springfield; three sons Daryl Wolfe of Stout, Matthew Wolfe and Brandon Russell both of Springfield; one sister Linda Richardson of Centre, Alabama; six grandchildren Michaela Orth, Kayleigh Russell, Robert Schielke, Madison Wolfe, Jaydlynn Auckerman, and Shyla McConell; special friends Kelley and Neal Auckerman and Penny and Pete Brown; several nieces and nephews; and his special dog Shyla-Sue.

Family and friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 Pm in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. A celebration of Dave's life will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Grace Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Orbie Estep officiating. Burial to follow in Vernon-Asbury Cemetery.
