Dean A. Wilson


Dean A. Wilson, age 49 of Springfield, passed away, after a brief battle with cancer, Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the Springfield Regional Medical Center.

He was born January 12, 1959 in Clark Co., Ohio the son of the late Dona & Betty M. (Ingling) Wilson.

Dean was the owner and operator of Advanced Portable Welding for many years, employee of Ironworkers Union Local #290. He was outgoing, enjoyed life, four wheeling, trap shooting and snow mobiles.

Preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Survivors include his beloved son and pride and joy Luke Allen Wilson (5), dear friend and mother of their son Sheila (Dever) Wilson, of South Vienna, one brother, and several nieces and nephews including Rob Wilson, and numerous other family members and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the Jones Kenney Zechman Funeral Home, 1002 E. High St., Springfield. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Luke Allen Wilson Scholarship Fund at any Fifth Third Bank.
