Donald E. Wagner


Donald E. Wagner, 68 of Springfield passed away Friday afternoon, November 9, 2007 in the Villa of Springfield.

He was born March 1, 1939 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Horace R. and Elizabeth (Potter) Wagner.

Don was a graduate of Springfield High School and retired from Navistar after 37½ years of service. Don will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Gloria (Wolford) Wagner of Springfield; mother, Elizabeth Wagner of Springfield; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Leontine and Donald Thurman of West Liberty, Ohio and Judy and Tom Whitaker of Springfield; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard R. and Donna Wagner of San Antonio, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 from 5-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Reverend Ken Whitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with military honors.
