David E. Thomas


David E. Thomas, 20, of Springfield, died unexpectedly, Saturday morning, November 3, 2007.

He was born in Springfield on January 21, 1987 the son of Lori (Helsel) Coates.

David was a 2005 graduate of Northwestern High School and worked at Aqua Falls Bottled Water. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on trucks, and riding his four-wheeler.

Survivors include his grandparents with whom he made his home, Kyle and Sue Helsel of Springfield; mother and father, Lori and Dan Coates of St. Paris; fiancé, Amy Agresta of Springfield; grandparents, Frances and Jim Coates of Springfield; two sisters, Danielle and Crystal Coates; a step-sister, Amber Finney; two step-brothers, Jacob and Danny Ray Coates; a special friend, Matt Hanrahan; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his favorite dog, Brutus.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Christian Heritage Church with Pastor Tim Young officiating.

Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
