Barbara Joann Truman


Barbara Joann Truman, 73, of Springfield, passed away at 6:25 AM Wednesday, December 19, 2007 in her residence.

She was born November 24, 1934 in Springfield the daughter of Ralph W. and Bernice L. (Skinner) Truman. Barbara was a member of the First Church of the Open Bible and had been employed at Aetna of Springfield for many years.

Survivors include two grandchildren; David and Amy, three great grandchildren; Landon, Allie and Tanner, two sisters; Sharie Truman and Linda Nokes, two brothers William Truman and Edward Boyce and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son David Truman , her parents and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in the First Church of the Open Bible with Pastor James Martin officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
