Mary Shepard


Mary Shepard, 82 of Springfield, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 in the Riverside Hospital, Columbus.

She was born on May 9, 1925 in Bellefontaine, Ohio the daughter of Henry and Eva (Doran) Sargent. She retired from Kay Jewelers after over twenty-five years of service. Mary loved spending time with her grandsons and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Eva and Michael Kennedy of Huntsville, one son, Chris Shepard of Colorado, two grandsons, Steven Kennedy and his wife, Renee', and Jaime Kennedy, three great grandchildren: Ashley, Megan, and Justin, and her best friend, Carolyn Tehan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Norman Shepard, three sisters, and three brothers.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 6, 2007 at 6:00 pm in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with a reception for family and friends immediately following the service.
