Heidi D. Shook, 28, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 4, 2008.

She was born on October 3, 1980, daughter of Vicki Shook. Heidi was a loving, caring person who was always known to not turn away friends for help or a place to stay.

She is survived by her mother, Vicki; her son, Domenick Shook; grandmother (nanny), Rozena Hammond; uncles and aunts, Victor (Kathy) Hammond, Nick (Bonnie) Hammond, Anita Sims, Thelma Roberts, Wanda Barker, and Sudie Reynolds; special cousins, Brandon, Kathy, Brad, Shery, Andre`, Eddie, Simone, Rachael, Eon, Layton, and Hunter; numerous second cousins and many friends who were very special to her.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Edward Hammond; uncle, Rick Hammond; and great-grandparents, Estill and Ada Mays and Lovic and Nena Hammond.

She will be greatly missed by many and always loved.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2008 from 5-8 PM at JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME- SPRINGFIELD, with funeral service on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Reverend Orbie Estep officiating. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
